Pizza Zilla–located at 1875 Central Avenue in Colonie–officially opened its doors on Thursday, March 6, serving up a variety of pizzas, calzones, subs, wings, pasta, and more.
Owner Miraj Alakazoi, who has worked in local pizzerias before launching his own spot, said Pizza Zilla is all about bringing bold flavors with a modern twist.
“We’re bringing extraordinary experiences with each bite,” Alakazoi shared on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “From mouthwatering pizzas to our subs and wings, PizzaZilla is all about mixing classic flavors with a modern twist. Bold, fresh, and always satisfying—get ready to tame your hunger with us!”
Pizza lovers can expect creative specialty pies like:
🍕 Chicken Bacon Ranch – Crispy chicken, turkey bacon, mozzarella, and ranch dressing.
🍕 Hawaiian – A sweet-and-savory combo of pineapple and turkey ham.
🍕 Bella Philly Steak – New York Strip steak, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella, and green peppers.
And for those with a sweet tooth, the menu features cheesecake, tres leches cake, peanut butter pie, and tiramisu, among other delectable dishes.
Since its grand opening, Pizza Zilla has been earning rave reviews.
